Prescription savings hits $10,500 with Co-op Connections Card
Since the discount prescription feature was announced last fall on
North Central Electric’s Co-op Connections® Card, Cooperative members
have saved more than $10,500.
By presenting the card at a local participating pharmacy, members
can receive 10 to 60 percent off the price of the prescriptions.
Since the program’s inception, members
have filled 1,033 prescriptions and received
$10,541 in discounts. The average savings for
each prescription is 27.6 percent.
This plan is not insurance; it is a pharmacy
discount offer. The card provides immediate
discounts at participating pharmacies. Members
pay the lower of a discounted price of the pharmacy’s regular retail
price. There are no forms to fill out and no limit to the number of times
the card can be used.
The Co-op Connections card is accepted at pharmacies nationwide,
including CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Target, Discount Drug Mart, Rite
Aid and more. For a list of participating local pharmacies, check
www.locateproviders.com. For discount price information, log on to
rxpricesquotes.com.
In addition to prescription discounts, the card offers discounts at
any participating local and national businesses offering the Touchstone
Energy® discount.
Employee pricing for Six Flags’ 17-based U.S. amusement parks
now is available. This is an Internet offer only and can yield savings
up to 30 percent by using the the Co-op Connections Card. Prices vary
