North Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a member-owned, member-controlled nonprofit electric distribution utility located in Attica, Ohio. North Central Electric is one of 24 electric cooperatives in Ohio.

Great Meter Changeout!

A long-standing tradition for North Central Electric Cooperative members is coming to an end. For decades, our members have helped the cooperative they own by sloshing through the snow or mud to read their electric meter. They have jotted down the meter reading and dutifully sent it in with their electric bill each month. Those days are ending due to rising wholesale power costs and the availability of affordable advanced metering technology. Learn more!

Where are we working? The cooperative believes the cheapest form of maintenance is preventative maintenance.The cooperative routinely does pole testing, tree trimming and meter testing throughout the year. The some of the maintenance is performed by the North Central crews and others are completed by contractors retained by the cooperative.
