Join NCE at Cedar Point for Member Appreciation Day
This year, North Central Electric Cooperative will be hosting a Member Appreciation Day at Cedar Point on Sunday, June 7. This event will be held with NCE’s sister cooperative, Lorain-Medina Rural Electric, located in Wellington, Ohio.
Members will be able to purchase up to four discount tickets for the day at $25 apiece. This will include a catered lunch and free parking on the day of the event. Each ticket, once it is validated at the park on June 7, will also have the option to purchase an additional ticket at $20 for entrance to the park on any other day of the 2020 season.
To purchase tickets, please visit www.cedarpoint.com/affiliate, and enter the username CPNCEC and the password ncec. These tickets will be available through May 28. Members will need their NCE account numbers in order to access the discounted ticket prices and reserve their spots for lunch.
Members who already have a season pass, or the new gold pass, can still log on and reserve their free meals for the day. You will still need to enter your NCE account number to do this as well.
Need more than four tickets or meal passes? No problem! Under the "Guest Event Package" section on the ticketing website, additional tickets can be purchased for $47 (pre-tax) that will still include the meal and parking. Meals can also be purchased for $18.35 (pre-tax), as long as your NCE account number is used.
This year, the cooperative has chosen to put more of a focus on the business meeting and election of board trustees during the annual meeting and is encouraging members to get involved with co-op governance. The annual meeting, which will be held at Camden Falls in Tiffin on June 9, will no longer feature a family fun day, but we hope you'll join us for a day of fun at Cedar Point! More information on the annual meeting will be released in the coming months.
